What we never show publicly
- Your name or email address
- Your school or company name
- Credential numbers, MMC numbers, or Mariner Reference Numbers
- Uploaded verification documents
- Exact sailing dates
- Private admin notes
Verification data
We collect verification information only to confirm you are a real cadet or mariner. We do not store raw credential numbers when it can be avoided — instead we store a hashed value and a redacted value (for example, only the last four digits). Uploaded documents, when supported, are stored securely and accessible to admins only.
Public reviews
Reviews you submit are shown anonymously using a role label such as “Deck Cadet, Spring 2025.” We moderate reviews for privacy and safety before publishing them.
Your choices
You can request that your account and associated data be removed. Contact us through the channels listed on the About page.
